SaY CHEESE.......

Cheese!!!!

Zipping Wine with cheese and cracker, listening to soft music! Oh! What a pleasant life. But surely not my life!!! Its my lovely passenger life.....

In my airline, passenger in business class can enjoy wine as much as they can, not only during the meal service but anytime. Some passengers enjoyed the whole bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, Reislings or Champagne. Cheese and Wine have a great deal in common. There are no hard and fast rules as to which wines should always be served with particular cheeses. There is an old adage that red wines go with hard cheeses and white wines with soft cheeses - but just like red wine with fish, there's always an exception. Another tradition is that cheeses of a certain geographic region are best enjoyed with wines of the same region. You may prefer one cheese with a particular wine while someone else may like an entirely different pairing. Its depends!
Wine & Cheese ? Yes Please.....

TurbuLence Terrifying?

Talking about turbulence seems terrifying? Dont be because Turbulence is just an annoying part of flying. Turbulence is the result of different masses of air moving at different velocities colliding into each other and is a normal situation you easily see and unavoidable part when you fly but remember, as long as you have your seatbelt fastened, you will be safe! Normally when turbulence occured pilot and air traffic control will have a conversation about the changing of flight altitude to make a smoother flight.
Don't let turbulence scared you! Sit back, relax and enjoy the flight with us!!!!

Kissing Eating PHO@Vietnam

The word "Pho" is a traditional vietnamese noodles soup topping is varies; sliced beef, meatballs, chicken, shrimp etc. I have a chanced to try this Pho from its original country where I have my flight flew to Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam. My flight arrived late at night and we stayed overnight in the downtown hotel.

After landed we planed to have Pho before we go to bed, here in Vietnam Pho 24 is a famous Pho restaurant so we decided to go there before arrived the hotel. This may took us about 20 to 30 minutes from the airport to the restaurant nearby the hotel but time gone so quickly as we're experienced excited ride to the hotel. Starting the ride with the Beep Beep Beep Beep!!!!!! sound from the drivers on the road which full of motorcycle (I think they use horn so often because there are so many motorcycles say like 60% of the total vehicles) But it make a lively night after a tired flight so long .......

Then one of my colleagues noticed one couple sitting on the motorcycle nearby the night park hugging and kissing!!! Suddenly all of us on the van turn around at the same time and take a look at that couple as this behavior is not usually seen in our country. But then we all saw not only that couple but there are so many couples doing the same thing not far from the first couple we saw and this can be seen in almost every park along the way to the restaurant. After we arrived the restaurant this topic arises again..................

Wondering about "WinDow Shades"

Everybody wonder: On preparing for landing everyone is asked of course; returning seatback, table and fastened seat belt, but they also ask thatWindow Shades be Opened. Why?
Many people couldn't figure this one out. Many people can only guess the reason; passengers can watch nice view through window, brightened the cabin atmosphere etc. The reason that most airlines require this that the crew and passenger's eyes are adjusted to the "natural light" outside the aircraft and also the essentially reason is the crew can observe the situations outside aircraft during this critical phrase of take off and landing. Its one of the scenarios I went through in training at my airline and I think we were all amazed at the difference it made in our ability to quickly observe smoke, strange sounds or any hazzards.

Economy Crisis & Cabin Crew Life

It's been sometimes that I've not updated the blog. However, I've been very busy with the intense flight schedules with hoping that I'll still be in this airline at the end of the day.

Yes, the economy is going down everywhere, from what I heard it started from United States and going down to Europe and now some countriees in Asia.

For Cabin Crew job here in my airline and others, are getting the collateral damage. Normally, here in This airline, All of the cabin crews will have their contract for abou 5 years interval. I can say that almost 50% of us will not have chances to renew the contract this year which has been somewhat talk of the town for this issue. For those who have their contract renewed for the next 5 years will be those who are experienced and have been reported of good behavior and no black list record.

For those fresh ones who have just applied to become cabin crew here. They all have to wait wihout any notice when it's going to be their turn to be "called in".

All Of this, I'm hoping that things would get better real soon.
