Pick Me --- Strawberry!!!

StrawBerry !!!! Another interesting experience for me in Japan would be strawberry picking where you can pick, eat and also take a memorial picture with a fresh strawberry in a green house. The seasonal period for strawberry picking is around January to May annually. In Japan, they celebrate Christmas with strawberry cakes and sushi, just as Americans celebrate it with turkey and ham. Perhaps they do this because strawberries have the same color as Santa Claus or just because strawberries are a favorite among all generations especially the children. Here in Japan they also have fresh strawberry with condensed milk which give a sweet with a little sour taste--unbeleivable, first time I've tried this it really taste good.
I went for strawberry picking with three of my friends the weather at that time is about 10 degree or something although the outside temperature is quite cold but once we enter into the green house we all sweating as the room in green house was set to be stabilized at 20 degree celcius. We have to take our jacket off and enjoy eating strawberry within the time limit of 4o minutes (said so by the farm owner) Beleive it or not strawberry can make you sweat!!!! "__"

4 Easy Steps -- How to put on Mascara

Step1--> When you remove your mascara, always use an oil-based remover. Other ones will tug and pull on your tender dermis.

Step2 --> Curl, curl, curl. A straight lash is a boring lash. Use eyelash curler, for me I use SHU UEMURA but it up to you to choose what best for you, grab the lashes by the base, and step up toward the tip.

Step3--> Using mascara, wriggle the wand at the base of the lash--this creates depth without make the ends of your lashes all spidery.

Step4--> Try a navy mascara--blue, green and brown-eyed beauties alike look great in a dark blue hue. The color will make the whites of your eyes whiter!

Dont forget the beauty tips of choosing what best for you -- you can use volume type, expansion type or curl type of mascara but dont forget what suit you most!!!

Know more about Foundation

If you're blessed with great skin, use as little foundation as possible. If you do use foundation, choose a sheer liquid foundation instead of a corrective foundation and top it off with a dusting of loose powder.

  • For a bit more coverage, go for a crème-to-powder foundation.

  • Mature skin usually requires a heavier crème foundation -- a powder finish may actually accentuate lines in your face.
  • Make sure you apply the right amount of foundation to your face. Too much will look unnatural. Instead, dip a fine brush or makeup sponge in a lightweight foundation and dab it on skin blotches and brown spots to even them out. Then take a damp sponge and apply foundation to your entire face, making sure to match the color of your neck and blend in well so there's no obvious line at your chin.
  • For instant radiance, mix liquid bronzer with your foundation or moisturizer before applying it to your face.

  • Use a makeup sponge instead of your finger to apply foundation. Dipping your finger into your foundation spreads bacteria, which can cause breakouts. And use a fresh, disposable makeup sponge every day.

Beautifully -- The Basics

Check any woman's bathroom, and chances are you'll find a plethora of makeup, much of it old and barely used. But choosing a makeup should be as simple as choosing an ice-cream flavor -- once you know what's best for you. Along those lines, follow this advice:

  • Use a moisturizing makeup remover that leaves your face feeling clean and soft.

  • Throw foundation away after three months. After a few months, the oils in foundation can go bad and smell rancid. Powder makeups like blushes and eye shadows last a little longer, but make sure to throw them out after a year.

  • Keep your makeup style fresh and current. A subtle change now and then will keep your look fashionable. If you'd rather not change your colors completely, change the texture. For example, if you love a particular shade of eye shadow, choose the same shade in a sparkly version. The small change will get noticed, but it won't be too dramatic.

SaY CHEESE.......

Cheese!!!!

Zipping Wine with cheese and cracker, listening to soft music! Oh! What a pleasant life. But surely not my life!!! Its my lovely passenger life.....

In my airline, passenger in business class can enjoy wine as much as they can, not only during the meal service but anytime. Some passengers enjoyed the whole bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, Reislings or Champagne. Cheese and Wine have a great deal in common. There are no hard and fast rules as to which wines should always be served with particular cheeses. There is an old adage that red wines go with hard cheeses and white wines with soft cheeses - but just like red wine with fish, there's always an exception. Another tradition is that cheeses of a certain geographic region are best enjoyed with wines of the same region. You may prefer one cheese with a particular wine while someone else may like an entirely different pairing. Its depends!
Wine & Cheese ? Yes Please.....

TurbuLence Terrifying?

Talking about turbulence seems terrifying? Dont be because Turbulence is just an annoying part of flying. Turbulence is the result of different masses of air moving at different velocities colliding into each other and is a normal situation you easily see and unavoidable part when you fly but remember, as long as you have your seatbelt fastened, you will be safe! Normally when turbulence occured pilot and air traffic control will have a conversation about the changing of flight altitude to make a smoother flight.
Don't let turbulence scared you! Sit back, relax and enjoy the flight with us!!!!

Kissing Eating PHO@Vietnam

The word "Pho" is a traditional vietnamese noodles soup topping is varies; sliced beef, meatballs, chicken, shrimp etc. I have a chanced to try this Pho from its original country where I have my flight flew to Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam. My flight arrived late at night and we stayed overnight in the downtown hotel.

After landed we planed to have Pho before we go to bed, here in Vietnam Pho 24 is a famous Pho restaurant so we decided to go there before arrived the hotel. This may took us about 20 to 30 minutes from the airport to the restaurant nearby the hotel but time gone so quickly as we're experienced excited ride to the hotel. Starting the ride with the Beep Beep Beep Beep!!!!!! sound from the drivers on the road which full of motorcycle (I think they use horn so often because there are so many motorcycles say like 60% of the total vehicles) But it make a lively night after a tired flight so long .......

Then one of my colleagues noticed one couple sitting on the motorcycle nearby the night park hugging and kissing!!! Suddenly all of us on the van turn around at the same time and take a look at that couple as this behavior is not usually seen in our country. But then we all saw not only that couple but there are so many couples doing the same thing not far from the first couple we saw and this can be seen in almost every park along the way to the restaurant. After we arrived the restaurant this topic arises again..................

Wondering about "WinDow Shades"

Everybody wonder: On preparing for landing everyone is asked of course; returning seatback, table and fastened seat belt, but they also ask thatWindow Shades be Opened. Why?
Many people couldn't figure this one out. Many people can only guess the reason; passengers can watch nice view through window, brightened the cabin atmosphere etc. The reason that most airlines require this that the crew and passenger's eyes are adjusted to the "natural light" outside the aircraft and also the essentially reason is the crew can observe the situations outside aircraft during this critical phrase of take off and landing. Its one of the scenarios I went through in training at my airline and I think we were all amazed at the difference it made in our ability to quickly observe smoke, strange sounds or any hazzards.

Economy Crisis & Cabin Crew Life

It's been sometimes that I've not updated the blog. However, I've been very busy with the intense flight schedules with hoping that I'll still be in this airline at the end of the day.

Yes, the economy is going down everywhere, from what I heard it started from United States and going down to Europe and now some countriees in Asia.

For Cabin Crew job here in my airline and others, are getting the collateral damage. Normally, here in This airline, All of the cabin crews will have their contract for abou 5 years interval. I can say that almost 50% of us will not have chances to renew the contract this year which has been somewhat talk of the town for this issue. For those who have their contract renewed for the next 5 years will be those who are experienced and have been reported of good behavior and no black list record.

For those fresh ones who have just applied to become cabin crew here. They all have to wait wihout any notice when it's going to be their turn to be "called in".

All Of this, I'm hoping that things would get better real soon.
